We realized early on that we, an indie video game developer, needed to stop thinking of ourselves as a garage style developer and start thinking of our firm as a full-on business. That means we have to have a fuller understanding of how our ‘products’ will sell in the marketplace; We take a holistic approach to refining internal development processes; We utilize professional management techniques; And we also assist in the overall marketing efforts for our games when possible.  We use these and many other modern business practices because it works; and it helps our team work more efficiently and focus on the game as opposed to sitting in meetings all day.  It also allows us to keep bringing more good games to you and all of our friends for a long time to come!
